BELIZE: As an adventure destination, Belize’s crystal clear waters give snorkelers and divers perfect views of coral atolls and the largest barrier reef in the Northern Hemisphere.

COZUMEL: While any time is good to visit Cozumel, warmer water for snorkeling and scuba diving occurs between May and October. Known for its marine biodiversity, expect vibrant colors and abundant sea creatures.

COSTA RICA: With a coastline touching the Caribbean, Costa Rica offers a balance of beachside and inland adventures. Cahuita National Park, located in the southeast part of the country, is one such area where you can view wildlife while snorkeling protected coral reefs or hiking through the forest.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: Just a two-hour flight from Miami, the Dominican Republic is the second-largest Caribbean country and home to Zona Colonial, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk the streets of the capital, Santo Domingo, for a mix of 16th-century ruins and beautifully preserved colonial architecture.
